About Me      I am a  lawyer with over 18 years private practice experience  in various areas of civil law in England.

I began my career in law in September 1991 with the high street solicitors' firm of John Constant & Co based in Palmers Green, North London. I remained with them for seven years until July 1998 when I then joined the larger high street firm of Osmond Gaunt & Rose based in Finchley, North London. I remained with that firm for some eight years, until June 2006 when I was approached (head-hunted) by the partners of Vizards Livesey Cameron Walker to join their legal practice in Central London. I remained with them for two years before joining the city firm  of Carter Lemon Camerons LLP (CLC) in June 2008. 

At CLC I am fortunate to work with a dedicated, hard-working team of talented expert lawyers and support staff.  

CLC is a Lexcel accredited law firm. The Lexcel quality mark, which is awarded by the Law Society of England and Wales, is only given to law firms that meet the highest management and customer care standards. Lexcel accredited firms undergo rigorous independent assessment every year to ensure they meet required standards of excellence in areas such as client care, case management and risk management.  Being able to wear the badge gives independent recognition for what CLC has always aimed to achieve.

• Residential and Commercial Conveyancing         

I handle a broad range of residential and commercial conveyancing matters, including sales and purchases  (private and auction);  first mortgages, re-mortgages and equity release mortgages; preparation of home information packs; transfers of equity and declarations of trust; personal guarantees; shared ownership purchases,  new leases, assignments of lease and lease renewals and variations; licences to assign and licences for alterations.

• Landlord & Tenant                                         

I also handle all aspects of lease and tenancy matters  and disputes, from providing telephone advice on law and procedure, preparing tenancy agreements, serving notices and recovering rent arrears,  to taking and defending forfeiture and possession proceedings, handling  all aspects of service charge disputes, claims in respect of unlawful eviction, damages for housing disrepair and enfranchisement.

• Litigation                                                    

My civil litigation practice has particular emphasis on property disputes, debt recovery, enforcement of judgments and insolvency.  My property work includes advising on boundary disputes, the acquisition of rights over land by adverse possession or prescription, restrictive covenants, easements, nuisance and trespass. I deal with all stages of a case from taking initial instructions through to trial and thereafter enforcement.  

• Wills & Probate                                             

I also offer advice and assistance on the preparation of Wills, Codicils and Declarations of Trusts under English law, and on the administration of estates within England and Wales.

• Commissioner for Oaths                                 

In addition to the above I offer my services as an independent Commissioner for Oaths, to administer oaths on affidavits and statutory declarations, to certify true copy documents and proofs of identity.

• Legalisation of Documents / Apostilles

I can also assist with the legalisation of UK documents for official use in Greece or Cyprus. Documents which can be issued with Apostille certificates for official use in these countries include:

• Powers of Attorney
• Wills
• Affidavits / Statutory Declarations
• Birth / Death / Marriage Certificates
• UK educational documents
• Religious / Medical documents
• UK County Court documents
• Documents issued by Companies House or HM Revenue & Customs

Legalisation generally requires the UK document and Apostille certificate to be translated in Greek by an officially recognised translator, which I can also arrange.

Most of the work I do comes from personal referrals and recommendations. My clients include landlords, lettings agents, property developers, management companies, surveyors, residents associations, Christian Churches and Housing Associations as well as tenants and private individuals.

I consider a sensitive and practical attitude is essential in dealing with legal problems that confront people in their everyday lives. When clients need flexibility I can adapt my service to meet their specific requirements, from arranging home and hospital visits to making myself available outside normal business hours, and locally, if required.

Having been born in England to Greek Cypriot parents and raised and educated in London, I am able to interact productively with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

I wiill not share your personal information with any other person or organisation. 
 
Outside work I am a devoted husband and father, I enjoy renovating houses and I am a keen gardener.

Εκείνη τη στιγμή πήγα στα δικηγορικα γραφεία του Osmond Gaunt & Rose στο Finchley Central, Βόρειο Λονδίνο. Ήμουν μαζί τους για οκτώ χρόνια, όταν τον Ιούνιο του 2006 οι συνεργάτες του Vizards Livesey Cameron Walker με κάλεσε να συνεργαστω μαζί τους στα δικηγορικα γραφεία τους στο κεντρικό Λονδίνοs. Έμεινα με αυτή την εταιρεία για δύο χρόνια μέχρι Ιούνιος του 2008 όταν έφυγα για να ενταχθούν τα γραφεία του Carter Lemon Camerons LLP στο κεντρικό Λονδίνοs. Παραμένω σε αυτή την εταιρία μέχρι και σήμερα.
